Service Manager for IT Service Management

We are looking for a Service Manager who ensures that IT services align with business needs. In this role, you will manage operational suppliers, reduce IT operational risks, and ensure business coordination. You will be responsible for service performance, compliance with SLAs and KPIs, as well as managing outsourcing agreements for infrastructure to maintain continuity.

Additionally, you will work on continuity planning, including disaster recovery, and monitor daily IT operations to ensure that procedures are followed and that the business operates efficiently.

Collaboration with suppliers and external partners is crucial, as is supporting IT projects and ensuring service alignment. You will be responsible for integrations in ServiceNow and drive continuous improvements for increased efficiency and cost-effectiveness. It is important that IT operations follow agile methods and the organization's working methods, while ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies.

Your role also includes translating business needs into concrete tasks, maintaining accurate service descriptions, ensuring compliance within operational areas, and managing supplier relationships for effective service delivery.

The bank is part of a larger group and has its headquarters in Malmö, while the original operations started in Älmhult.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Solid experience in IT service management, including project management.
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in technology, economics, or a related field.
  • Documented expertise in organizational change management.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in coaching and team development.
  • Proven ability to manage suppliers and navigate multi-supplier environments.
  • Deep understanding of frameworks and best practices in service management.
  • Experience in resource planning and effective team leadership.
  • Background in digital service delivery with a focus on operational excellence.
  • Analytical ability to identify and implement service improvements based on business needs.
  • Practical experience in supplier management and procurement processes.
  • Knowledge of Agile, Lean methods, and cloud-based solutions.
  • Service-oriented mindset with a strong focus on business value.
